Kiss My Fridge

Some kitchen appliance expert made a big mistake when they decided stainless steel was going to be the wave of the future. Sure it looks beautiful, shiny, and very impressive. But you cannot put magnets on a stainless steel refrigerator. What's with that? I have all stainless steel appliances but not a stainless steel refrigerator, at least not yet. My whole life is on the refrigerator. Sure my iPhone has a lot but my refrigerator has more. All of my doctor cards, class schedules, doctors’ appointments, and, don't forget the most important thing of all, recent pictures of the grandkids are all there. Probably the most important business card of all, our handyman, is there too. We would be lost without him. Funny but we don't want to share our favorite handyman with just anybody. Snakes On A Plane

As a white-knuckle flyer with a horrid imagination, something happened on our plane ride home from the U.K. that put me in a tizzy! One week in the U.K. has me talking like a true Brit. On our pleasant ride home a mom with a new baby sat in front of us. Babies are unpredictable so one does not know what could happen. This baby, Max, was a cutie pie. He smiled and talked, a perfect trooper so far. About one hour into the trip his mom noticed a steady stream of water coming in over her head. I thought oh no, a hole in the plane, we are going down! I was too busy playing Bejeweled Blitz to pay attention to instructions of what to do if we crashed. Luckily the people around me were not in panic mode. It was a full bottle of water in someone's luggage. She had to stand up, cover up from feeding the baby, and hand him off to her traveling companion. We all pressed the stewardess button and she said, “OK who has luggage up here that is leaking?” ...
